ACT NO.8 9 28 BILL NO. 35-0289 THIRTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2024 An Act amending title 27 Virgin Islands Code by raising the legal age to purchase tobacco products from 18 to 21 years of age == Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 27 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 9, section 305b is amended as follows: (a) Subsection (c), paragraphs (1) and (2), strike “18” and insert “21”; (b) Subsection (d), strike “18” and insert “21”; and (c) Subsection (e), strike “18” and insert “21”. Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on October 16, 2024.
