The vote on the amend- ment which had been presented by Chaiy- man Lodge of the Foreign Relations Com- mittee was 35 to 55. Washington, Oct. 16th.- By an over whelming majority the House today psss- ed the bill extending for one year the war time passports restrietions so as to keep radicals and undesirable aliens out of the United States.
