ACT NO. 6847 BILL NO. 26-0259 TWENTY-SIXTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2006 An Act amending 20 V.I.C., part 2, chapter 43 prohibiting the sale, possession or use of traffic signal preemption devices and for other purposes --0-- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. This act may be cited as “The Traffic Signal Control Preemption Devices Act.” SECTION 2. Title 20 Virgin Islands Code, part 2, chapter 43 is amended by adding section 511 to read as follows: “g511 (a) For purposes of this section, a “traffic signal preemption device” means any device that emits a pulse of light or other signal that, when received by a detector attached to a traffic control signal, changes that traffic control signal. …
