Mr. Niah Henry, age 33, was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Illegal Narcotics with Intent to Distribute when he was observed selling and bagging illegal narcotics in the Red Hook district. There was no bail set for Mr. Henry who was subsequently turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advise of Rights Hearing. Ronald Smith On Saturday, March 18, 2023, at approximately 9:00 p.m., members of the Special Operations Bureau were conducting traffic enforcement while working Operation Rewind on Emile Francis Memorial Drive. Mr. Ronald A. Smith, age 39, was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm with an obliterated serial number and Possession of Illegal Narcotics with Intent to Distribute. His bail was set at $150,000.00. Unable to post bail, Mr. Smith was turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advise of Rights Hearing. ###
