ITEM 41801 FULL DEPTH RECONSTRUCTION SHALL INCLUDE REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF ALL ASPHALT PAVEMENT AT AREAS TO BE RECONSTRUCTED AND PATCHED. ITEM 50101 AND 50201 SHALL INCLUDE ALL SAW CUTTING NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A NEAT EDGE, REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF CONCRETE, AND ANY NECESSARY EXCAVATION. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PERFORM COMPACTION TESTS WITH A NUCLEAR GAUGE ON A DAILY BASIS WHEN COMPACTION OF MATERIAL IS IN PROGRESS. A MINIMUM OF ONE COMPACTION TEST MUST BE PERFORMED PER LIFT AND ALL TESTS RESULTS SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO DPW FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL.
