LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS CERTIFICATE OF ENACTMENT NOTWITHSTANDING THE GOVERNOR’S VETO THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT, Bill No. 35-0381 - An Act providing an appropriation to the Attorney General of the Virgin Islands’ Crime Prevention/Prosecution Fund pursuant to Section 6b of the Master Settlement and Release Agreement; establishing a separate and distinct interest-bearing fund to be designated the “GVI/JPMC Charitable Fund”; and transferring the sum of $5,339,500 to organizations that support vulnerable and disenfranchised individuals passed by the Thirty-Fifth Legislature of the Virgin Islands at its regular session held on September 27, 2024, (a copy of which is attached hereto) and vetoed by the Governor on October 10, 2024, was duly enacted by override by the Thirty-Fifth Legislature at its regular session held on October 16, 2024, pursuant to section 9(d) of the Revised Organic Act of the Virgin Islands, 48 U.S.C. §1575 (d). nr ‘22 20L¢ Novelle E.
