ACT NO.648 2 BILL NO. 24-0145 TWENTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2001 To provide for the lease of property formerly known as the Virgin Islands Hotel as a veterans multipurpose center and to provide for an appropriation ---0--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding title 31, §205, Virgin Islands Code, or any other law, the Governor, acting on behalf of the Government of the Virgin Islands, is authorized to lease that certain tract of real property and improvements, formerly known as the Virgin Islands Hotel, and more particularly described as Parcel Nos. 2, 14 and 24 Estate Lower Dunkoe, Nos. 3B and 3C Little North side Quarter, St. Thomas US. Virgin Islands and Parcel Nos. 23-1, 114, 115, 117A and Remainder of Parce] No. 116 Estate Contant No. 7Bb, Southside Quarter, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, to the Veterans Resource and Development, Inc. …
