FRIDAY December 12th rfor the in- habitants of Hill, Kast, Lagoon. Little Hospital, New and Fisher Streets. For the Country. SATURDAY Decemb r 13th. for the inhabitants in voth East End Quarters at the Stock Estate Sallv’s Faney at 11 o’clock a. m. TUESDAY December 16th for the in- habitants in Company’s Quarter at the Agricultural Experiment Station at Es- tate Anna’s Hope at 11 o’clock a. m. WEDNESDAY December 17th for the inhabitants in Queen’s King’sancé North- side Quarter Ltr. B. at the Station at Kingshill at 10 o’clock a. m. FRIDAY December 19th for the in- habitants in Prince’s Quarter in tha School at Estate Diamond at 2 o'clock p. m., not 12 o’clock noon. MONDAY December 22nd for the in- habitants in West End Quarter ard Northside Quarter Ltr. A. at the Police Office in Frederiksted, at 10 o’clock a. m. For the Town of Frederiksted: same day for the inhabitants of Strand, King’s and Queen’s Streets. TUESDAY December 23rd for the in- habitants of Prince’s, Hospital and New Streets, King’s Cross Street, Market, Hill and Lagoon Streets, all at the said Police Office at 10 o’clock a. m. Owners of estates are to specify in writing the exacet number of acres in su- gar cultivaticen, in cotton cultivation, in other cultivation and in pasture. Also information concerning the buildings on the estate and the appropriation thereof, especially if there are rooms rented to other than laborers permanently employ- ed, and the length and width of said rooms and the rental thereof. If any portion of the land is considered to be useless, and vields no rev:nve to the owner, the number of acres of such portion must be stated in the taxlist and a certificate on oath issued by the pro- prietor and two Burghers residing in the quarter, and furthermere attested by the Quarter Officer, and delivered to the Commission. Owners of empty lots in towrn are requested to fill out the taxlists accurate- iy <iving the information desived in or- der that it may be ascertained if anv new buildings have been erected on the property during the year, also stating the time when such buildings were first occupied. In order that reduction can be obtained in the taxes for dwelling houses, ware- houses and sheds, which have been un- occenpied for two months and upwards, the Commission would particularly draw the attention of those parties desiring rediction that i: is very necessary in sucl cases that certificates to that effect be producad stuting that the houses, sheds ete. have been vacant during said period. NOLL, Chairman, their taxlists, the Commission begs to announce that taxlists will not be received forany quarter, at any other time or place than abeve stated. In case persons neglect to deliver a taxlist for any estate in due time, the Commission will be- fore closing the meeting assess the tax for saia estate according %o the best of its knowledge. Taxlists which are forwarded later to the Compnission, will, together with a list of those estates that have omit. ted to send in their taxlists, be transmitted to the Government in order that other measures be taken. Blanks for taxlists will be distributed some days previous to the meeting of the Tax Commission and are required to be accurately filled out by the parties con- cerned, and delivered to the Co:x mission on the day which is fixed for each street in the town and each quarter in the coun- try.
