Office of the Commissioner PUBLIC NOTICE The Department of Planning and Natural Resources-Division of Environmental Protection has received an application for a Minor Operating Permit: LIMETREE BAY TERMINALS, LLC d/b/a OCEAN POINT TERMINALS #1 ESTATE HOPE ST. CROIX, USVI The Department of Planning and Natural Resources tentatively intends to approve the application. The application is for the operation of the following: ➢ one (1) 30MMBTU EBICO EC-7-GR VIC Propane Fired Heater This unit will produce heat to the contents for several tanks. During operation, this unit in addition with the increase in temperature to tanks will have the potential to emit .17 tons per year (tons/yr) of nitrogen oxides, 2.15 tons/yr of sulfur dioxide, 10.77 tons/yr of carbon monoxide, 6.90 tons/yr of volatile organic compounds, and 2.02 tons/yr of particulate matter into the atmosphere. …

CROIX, USVI The Department of Planning and Natural Resources tentatively intends to approve the application. Copies of the application and draft permit are available online for review at the Department of Planning and Resources website at: OPT-Heated-tanks-Proposed-Permit.pdf (vi.gov) beginning November 09, 2023 for thirty (30) calendar days through December 08, 2023. A copy of the proposed permit will be available for review at the main office between the hours of 08:00 a.m. and 05:00 p.m. weekdays, except on holidays.
