- SEA LAB III PROGRAM AT LAMESHUR BAY (Board of Trustees Meeting, March 31, 1968) The Board agreed that the Sea Lab III program at Lameshur Bay, where the College was pioneering oceanographic research in the Virgin Islands with the Office of Naval Research, was an important allied activity to have under development in the Virgin Islands; although the College itself was not a direct participant, it was cooperating.
