ACTNO. 6832 BILL NO. 26-0076 TWENTY-SIXTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2006 An Act amending 1 V.I-C., chapter 15, section 254 relating to open meetings of government agencies -—0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 1 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 15, section 254, subsection (c) is amended by adding paragraph (3) to read as follows: “(3) A copy of the vote on any action taken by an agency in a meeting closed to the public pursuant to subsection (b) must be made available to the public, excluding any information exempted from public disclosure under subsection (b). The documentation of the vote must include: (A) _ the names of all agency members present at the time of the vote; (B) —adescription of the matter on which the vote was taken; and (C) — arecord of each member’s vote.” SECTION 2. Title 1 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 15, section 254, subsection (f) is amended after “agency” by inserting, “including the vote of an agency pursuant to subsection (c) (2) of this section”. …
