August 9, 2019 AMENDMENT SEVEN (7) RFP-024-2019 (P)- Territory-Wide Government Wide (GWAN) and Land Mobile Radio Public Safety (LMR-PS) Architectural & Engineering Services. INSERT: QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 1. Can the USVI clarify if either the VI Business License or current business license issued by a State would be sufficient? Or does the USVI required both documents? A. The vendor may submit a proposal without a V.I. Business License as long as they possess a valid state business license. However, if awarded, prior to any contract being fulfilled the vendor has up until ten (10) days to acquire a valid Virgin Islands Business License. 2. Can the USVI clarify if the VI Business License is required to be submitted with the proposal or within ten days of award notification? A. INSERT: QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 1. Can the USVI clarify if either the VI Business License or current business license issued by a State would be sufficient? Or does the USVI required both documents? A. The vendor may submit a proposal without a V.I. Business License as long as they possess a valid state business license. However, if awarded, prior to any contract being fulfilled the vendor has up until ten (10) days to acquire a valid Virgin Islands Business License. 2. Can the USVI clarify if the VI Business License is required to be submitted with the proposal or within ten days of award notification? A. The VI Business License is required prior to acquiring a contract. If you do not have one, you have up until 10 days to do so. 3. Can the USVI verify if our electrical engineers are required to become licensed in the USVI in order to work on the project or, as they are not performing any engineering work on the project, they are not required to be licensed in the USVI? A. The main vendor, whomever is awarded, is required to have a valid Virgin Islands Business License in order to conduct business in the Virgin Islands. All other terms and conditions remain the same. A copy of this amendment must be returned with your bid.
