ACT NO, 7042 BILL NO. 27-0238 TWENTY-SEVENTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLAND; Regular Session 2008 An Act appropriating monies for salaries and expenses of the University of the Virgin the fiscal year ending September 30, 2009, and for other purposes ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. the sum of $30,519,056 or as much as may be necessary, is appropriat of any available funds in the Treasury of the Virgin Islands, to be transferred to the University. of. the Virgin Islands Fund for expenditure by the University of the Virgin Islands during th fiscal year ending September 30, 2009, for the purposes hereinafter named in this section in ac with the provisions of title 17 V.I.C., chapters 33 and 35: (a) For salaries, including pay for regular and temporary employees; salary employer's FICA and retirement contributions; overtime compensation of hourly rated employees; : books, magazines, teaching materials and audio-visual supplies; equipment and supplie j offices, classrooms, laboratories, library, student and faculty lodgings; recreational ‘and c …
