OVERRIDDEN DATE 01/30/02 _ BILL NO. 24-0137 TWENTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2001 To amend title 30, chapter 5, section 105, Virgin Islands Code, to transfer the instalation and maintenance of street lights from the Department of Public Works to the Virgin Jslands Water and Power Authonty, to provide for an appropnation and for other purposes ---0--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 31, chapter 1, section 2, Virgin Islands Code, is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Title 30, chapter 5, section 105, Virgin Islands Code, is amended by adding new paragraphs (19) and (20), and renumbering the existing paragraphs accordingly, to read as follows: *(19) to install and maintain adequate street lights in the urban and rural residential sections; and (20) to maintain and contro] the Water Punfication Barge donated to the Government of the Virgin Islands by the U.S. Department of Interior. The Water Purification Barge is hereby transferred to the V.]. Water and Power Authority.” SECTION 3. …
