March 12 U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS— The Government of the Virgin Islands has released the following statement concerning allegations in a lawsuit made by a former employee of the Virgin Islands Department of Finance:   The Government of the Virgin Islands is aware of the lawsuit recently filed by a former employee of the Department of Finance alleging that her termination violated whistleblower protections. The Government of the Virgin Islands categorically rejects these claims as unfounded and without merit.   While we respect the right of any individual to seek legal recourse, we are confident that the facts will show that this claim is without merit. The Bryan-Roach Administration remains steadfast in its commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability in government operations, and we will continue to focus on the work of improving the lives of Virgin Islanders. # # # TAGS No tags CATEGORIES Uncategorized Previous Next Comments are closed © 2026 Government of the United States Virgin Islands.
