" Oiticial Publicat.on i ) L lT is with much gratification that I inform the people of the Virgin Islands that The Honorable, The Secretary of the Navy, is sending an | officer of the Civil Engineer Corps of high rank, to the Virgin Islonas for the purpose of Investigaling and reporting upon the means of providing a water supply for the towns of St. Ithomas, Christiansted and Frederiksted. It is expected that this officer will reach the Vir- | gin Islands the latter part of the | prasent month. | The Honorable, The tecretary of | the Navy, has also informed me that the Department of the Interior has agreed to send a Reclamation Kngineer to the virgin Islands te in- vestigate and report upon the possi- bility of water conservation lor agricultural purposes, and that this engineer will probably arrive in the Virgin Islands the latter part of .| February. Government Attorney, bas filed in said Court its peti*ion ol k.chear in the above entitled cause, setting forth that one ROBERT O ROBINSON, on the 24th day of November, 1921, died, intestate, in the county of Parnstable, state of Massachusetts, and ieaving the real estate, No. 59 King Street, Christiansted, St. Croix, and in addition rental moneys and bonds of the St. Croix Sukkertabrik, and leaving no heirs. widow, or kiow: kin- dred capable of inheriting said property. and praving that the aforesaid properiy be ad- judged to belong to the Municipality of St. Croix. IT IS ORDERED that said petitioner give nofice of the pendency of said action by putiishing the substance of the said petition as hereinbefore set torth, with this order, in the *'St. Croix Avis’’, a newspaper printed at Carisiiansted in said Municipality of St. Croix, Bix consecutive weeks, and that all persons interested in the aforesaid property appear and saow coause, if any taey have, on or befure the 25th day of I\ bruary, 1924, why the title should not vestin the Municipakity of St. Croix.
