ACTNO, 6836 BILL NO. 26-0205 TWENTY-SIXTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2006 An Act repealing and reenacting 7 V.I.C., chapter 1 to provide for a sustainable farming industry, amending 19 V.I.C., section 2301 to provide for the designation of a territorial veterinarian, amending 33 V.I.C., chapter 111 relating to the Agriculture Revolving Funds and making appropriations ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 7 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 1 is repealed and reenacted with amendments to read as follows: “Chapter 1. Development of Sustainable Agriculture Subchapter I. Sustainable Agriculture §1. This chapter may be cited as the Sustainable Farming Act. §2. Definitions In this chapter, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the following words, terms, and phrases have the following meanings: (a) “Agricultural products” means fruits, vegetables, herbs, honey, forage, ornamentals, aquaculture, (fish), trees, poultry, eggs, meat, and dairy products. …
