THE UNITED STATES VIRGIN ISLANDS OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR GOVERNMENT HOUSE Charlotte Amalie, V.I. 00802 340-774-0001 ORDER LOWERING ALL FLAGS ON GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS BUILDINGS TO HALF-STAFF IN HONOR OF VIRGIN ISLANDS FIRE-FIGHTER DWAYNE THOMAS REKKKEKKKKER BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES ReeKKKKKKKEER ORDER The Virgin Islands community mourns the passing of Virgin Islands Firefighter, Mr. Dwayne Thomas. Mr. Thomas served with the Virgin Islands Fire Service for over 22 years. His outstanding service and commitment to the Virgin Islands Fire Service, his fellow firefighters and family will serve as a testament of his love for his profession and his island home, and therefore, it is fitting that all Virgin Islands flags on all local government buildings in the Territory be flown at half-staff until sunset on the date of his interment. Mapp, Governor of the Virgin Islands of the United States, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Revised Organic Act of 1954, as amended, do hereby Order that all Virgin Islands flags shall be flown at half-staff at Government House and upon all local government buildings and grounds throughout the Territory until sunset on February 7, 2018. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, | have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of the Government of the Virgin Islands of the United States to be affixed at Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands this" day, of January 2018.
