Quick Start Guide To Voting with the AutoMark in Virgin Islands Website: www.vivote.gov facebook.com/vivote.gov twitter.com/vivote youtube.com/user/ElectionSystem Instructions 1. Have your identification ready as you approach the registration table.( A list of valid forms of identification is on the reverse of this guide) 2. In a primary Election, declare Democratic or Republican Party af- filiation. In a General Elections, no party declaration is necessary. 3. Take the ID slip to the Ballot Table– Poll List Clerk. You will re- ceive a ballot and a secrecy folder. 4. Advise an election official that you wish to use the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible machine (AutoMark) to mark your ballot. 5. Insert your ballot into the Auto mark tray. An election official will instruct you regarding the ballot marking process and the Auto- Mark itself will give you step-by-step instructions via the screen or headphones. 6. Mark your ballot using the touch screen, directional buttons or your Slip/Puff device. Touch the oval or name of your choice. 7. …
