ACT NO. 7517 BILL NO. 30-0060 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2013 An Act to amend title 14, chapter 85, of the Virgin Islands Code by adding protection for spouses, men and women, who are the victims of actions that constitute rape or unlawful sexual contact in aggravated domestic violence instances ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. (a) Title 14, chapter 85, sections 1700, 1702, 1703, 1707, 1708 and 1709 of the Virgin Islands Code are amended by deleting the words “not the perpetrator’s spouse” wherever they appear. (b) Title 14, chapter 85, section 1700a (a) of the Virgin Islands Code is amended by deleting the words “‘and not the perpetrator’s spouse”. …
