U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS - The Virgin Islands Department of Human Services (VIDHS), Division of Family Assistance (DFA) is advising the community that the SNAP Certification unit in the STT and STX districts will be temporarily close on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm to allow the staff to attend professional development meetings/trainings. In an effort to better serve our clients’ needs and ensure that the USVI adheres to the federal guidelines, as set forth by the program requirements, the entire DFA unit will be attending a mandatory training. The VI Department of Human Services apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this early closure. …
