Mr. Baldwin acquainted his col- leagues with all the facts of the much discussed Paris iuterview but no hint regarding the nature of the conversutions was allowed to escape from the Cibinet Ccuncil. There goems little likelihood that either Great Britain or France will make direct ap- proaches to Germany. in light of the changed sitnation n the Rhineland, for several weeks.
