ST. CROIX STATION. Portsmouth, November 4th.—(Canidi- an Press.) In the grev mists ol early November the Dominion Premiers yester- day rveviewed the Atlantic Fleet. There was the greatest assembiage of war- ships off Spithead since the Rbyal Re- view in 1914, and as the fleet steamed out to sea the long line from the first cubmarine to the last batt.eship stretehed nearly 15 miles. It is significant of naval d:velopments too, that “net one of the v'sselsgoresent at the 1914 review was tnere yesterday. 'The Dominions party, accompanied by Col. Amery, First Lord of the Ad miralty, left LLondon oy spagial train for Portsmouth, where they em- birked on the steamer Princess )Marga- ret.- The fleet was anchored off Spit- head in seven lives. Tae Princes. Mar- garet steamed down and back. She passed the Queen Elizabeth, ov which the German officials signed the sur- render of their high seas fleet. She passed the battlesyips Barbam, War- spite, Mayala and Valiant, all of which fought in the battle ot Jutland. She steamed on past the huge battle-cruisers Hood and Repulse, which 11l soon be- gin their tour of the Empire, past light cruisers, destroyers, submarines, war- ships of all types to the strangest look- ing of all the aircraft carriers. Hav- ing passed dowvn the lines, the Princess Margaret anchored near Nab ‘f'ower, one of the mystery towers of the war, and the fleet, in a cingle -line, with guns ~ trained, steawaed past her to sea, rhe “submarines leading. Then the Margaret herself steamed out seven miles, and, a; she rolled uncomfortable in the heavy swell, the destroyer flotilla swept back at high speed, engaging in a torpédo at- tack as they passed.
