(hereinafter “LRE Solar”) requesting certification as Qualified Facility (hereinafter “QF’’) In United States Virgin Islands (hereinafter “USVI”); and WHEREAS, LRE Solar is proposing two projects on St. Croix, each being 30 MWac Solar PhotoVoltaic plus a 30 MW/60 MWh BESS (battery storage); and WHEREAS, on October 22, 2022, the Commission received a Report and Recommendations from its Technical Consultant, Georgetown Consulting Group, Inc. Nee! Nee Nee eee” eee” ORDER WHEREAS, on October 21, 2022, the Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (hereinafter “Commission” or “PSC”) received an Application from LRE VI Solar, LLC. (hereinafter “GCG”); and WHEREAS, on October 26, 2022, the Commission met in regular session at its office on St. Thomas, USVI located at No. 1003 Estate Ross, Suite 4 and via its Zoom videoconference link; and WHEREAS, after review and deliberation, the Commission voted to GRANT LRE Solar certification as a QF on St. Croix, US Virgin Islands; and NOW THEREFORE, the Commission finds and ORDERS that, LRE Solar’s Application for certification as a QF on St. Thomas USVI is GRANTED.
