ACTNO.8 88 1 BILL NO. 35-0303 THIRTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2024 An Act approving the Government of the Virgin Islands’ conveyance of Plot No. 25B Hill Street, Company Quarter, Christiansted, St. Croix, Virgin Islands to the Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority --0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: WHEREAS, pursuant to 21 V.LC. § 103, the Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority (the ‘““VIHFA”), is a public corporation and autonomous governmental instrumentality of the Government of the Virgin Islands created to expand housing opportunities for Virgin Islands residents; WHEREAS, pursuant to 21 V.I.C. § 103 (v), the VIHFA may acquire, own or possess real property by lawful means for any of its purposes, and to use, sell, improve, manage, develop, lease, mortgage, dispose of, or otherwise turn to account or deal with its property for those purposes; WHEREAS, the Government of the Virgin Islands owns Plot No. 25B Hill Street, Company Quarter, Christiansted, St. Croix, Virgin Islands, consisting of 0.1031 U.S. …
