The Editor of the '*Avis’’ is under the impression that he is the scrvant of the Colonial Counecil. I don’t know how the Editor of the *'St. Croix Avis’’acquired the right to publish the Council Proceedings. Other newspapers should have the right to tender bids for the work of publishing the proceedings. I understand that Government is asking for bids for general printing I would like to ask whether that covers printing pro- ceedings of the Colonial Council? What I want to say is that the Hororable 2nd Member for §Christiansted Country Distriet has mad: a statement ,regarding eoHrrruption; +hat should be investigated a1 oace or we all should resign.
