ACTNO, 8692 BILL NO. 34-0357 THIRTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2022 An Act amending title 27 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 16, relating to Real Estate Appraisers ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 27 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 16, is amended in the following instances: (a) Section 433 is amended as follows: (1) Paragraph (4) is amended by striking all the language after “means” and inserting “the appraisal subcommittee of the Federal Finance Institutions Examination Council.”; (2) Paragraph (9), the definition of “Commission” is stricken, and the remaining paragraphs are renumbered accordingly; (3) Paragraph (14) is amended by striking “as may be authorized by the Appraisal Subcommittee”; (4) | Paragraph (15) is stricken; (5) The following new definitions are added in the appropriate alphabetical order: (a) “Real Property Appraiser Qualification Criteria” means criteria established by the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB). …
