s/AWCJR AMENDMENT TO BILL NO. 36-0144 Offered by Senator Clifford A. Joseph, Sr. Bill No. 36-0105 is amended as follows: 1. In section 1: (a) Internal section 200a: (i) paragraph (2), after “including” insert “the isomerization of CBD”; and (ii) add the following paragraph (4): “Any cannabinoid other than delta 9 THC-that is naturally derived that when introduced into the human body is reasonably likely to cause intoxication or impairment, based on known effects on perception, cognition, or behavior; or has a psychoactive effect or is marketed or labelled as having euphoric, intoxicating, or psychotropic effects”. (b) Internal section 209, paragraph (b), add the following sentence at the end: “The person or business entity as the right to appeal the decision of the Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs under current law.” 2. In section 3, add the following at the end: “The Industrial Hemp Commission shall coordinate with the Virgin Islands Police Department for the appropriate disposal method for all seized products.” 3.
