THOMAS, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS MONTHL Y PROGRESS REPORT #37 FEBRUARY 1995 WORK COMPLETED DURING PREVIOUS MONTH Met with ERA on February 1 at Region II to prepare for meetings with DNPR, WAPA, and DPW. On February 6 and 1, 1995 representatives of TEIC attended and participated in a meeting on St. Thomas with USEPA, CDM, DPNR, WAPA and DPW to discuss specific aspects of project implementation including: a) treated groundwater discharges b) treated groundwater re-use c) short-term source control strategies d) disposal of non-hazardous soils and solids at Bivoni Landfill e) the permitting processes necessary as part of remedial implementation On February 24, 1995 TEIC received EPA's comments on the final draft Rl Report. On February 27, 1995 TEIC received supplemental data collected by EPA contractors further addressing site conditions at the Laga Building. EPA requested that a discussion of this data be incorporated into the final Rl. WORK TO BE COMPLETED DURING NEXT MONTH • Submit Draft Feasibility Study (FS) document to EPA and the PRP Group. …
