ACTNO, 7882 BILL NO. 31-0342 THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2016 An Act naming Route 663 on the island of St. Croix “The Route 663-Eddie Ortiz Drive” and making an appropriation | Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION Lf. In recognition and appreciation of the contributions of Mr. Edwin “Eddie” Ortiz to the people of the Virgin Islands, particularly the community of St. Croix, Route 663, the road travelling from the Queen Mary Highway, past Central High School traveling south to the Melvin H. Evans Highway on the island of St. Croix is named “The Route 663 Eddie Ortiz Drive”. SECTION 2. Notwithstanding 33 V.LC. 3002 (c), the sum of $10,000 is appropriated in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2016, from the District Public Road Fund to the Department of Public Works to erect and post the appropriate signage required by section | of this Act.
