The Honorable Members of the Virgin Islands Legislature Territory of the Virgin Islands Dear Honorable Members, I am writing to express my wholehearted support for the nomination of Attorney Melanie Turnbull to serve as a Judge on the Superior Court of the United States Virgin Islands. I have had the pleasure of knowing Attorney Turnbull since 2015, when she worked as an Assistant Public Defender with the Office of the Territorial Public Defender, and more recently, as an Assistant Federal Public Defender for the past seven years. Additionally, she served as a member of the Territorial Public Defender’s Board, where I serve as the chairman. During our time working together, I have witnessed her demonstrate exceptional professionalism, intellect, and dedication to the pursuit of justice. Her extensive experience in the field of law, particularly in the areas of Criminal law and federal litigation, has equipped her with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel as a judge. …

The Honorable Members of the Virgin Islands Legislature Territory of the Virgin Islands Dear Honorable Members, I am writing to express my wholehearted support for the nomination of Attorney Melanie Turnbull to serve as a Judge on the Superior Court of the United States Virgin Islands. I have had the pleasure of knowing Attorney Turnbull since 2015, when she worked as an Assistant Public Defender with the Office of the Territorial Public Defender, and more recently, as an Assistant Federal Public Defender for the past seven years.
