LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS CERTIFICATE OF ENACTMENT NOTWITHSTANDING THE GOVERNOR’S VETO THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT an Act transferring the Massac Nursing Home to the Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation for a sports resort facility and boxing gymnasium, enacted by the Thirtieth Legislature at its regular session held on June 18 and 19, 2014, (a copy of which is attached hereto) and vetoed by the Governor on July 11, 2014, was enacted due to the Governor’s failure to return this Bill within the time prescribed in section 9(d) of the Revised Organic Act of the Virgin Islands, 48 U.S.C. §1575 (d), notwithstanding the Governor’s veto and has become law.
