(a) The sum of $3,000,000 is appropriated from any available funds in the 8 General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands, in the fiscal year ending 9 September 30, 2024, to the Virgin Islands Department of Human Services to pay providers and 10 vendors that participate in the Medicaid program. 11 (b) The Office of Management and Budget shall disburse the sum authorized in 12 subsection (a) to the Department of Human Services for the purposes in subsection (a). 13 BILL SUMMARY 1 This bill appropriates 3,000,000 from the General Fund in the fiscal year ending 2 September 30, 2024, to cover underfunded Medicaid expenses. 3 BR24-1160/June 17, 2024/AA 4 G35-071 5
