BILL NO. 33-0329 THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2020 An Act ratifying the Agreement for Voluntary (Employee Paid) Critical Illness, Accidental Injury and Hospital Care Insurance between the Government of the Virgin Islands through the Health Insurance Board of Trustees and the Life Insurance Company of North America (CIGNA) ---0--- WHEREAS, on October 1,2019, the Government of the Virgin Islands, through the Health Insurance Board of Trustees on behalf of the Government, the Virgin Islands Port Authority, the University of the Virgin Islands, the St. Thomas East End Medical Center Corporation, and the Frederiksted Health Care, Inc. entered into an agreement with the Life Insurance Company of North America, commonly known as CIGNA, to provide Voluntary Critical Illness Insurance, Voluntary Accidental Injury Insurance and Voluntary Hospital Care Insurance; and WHEREAS, on December 30, 2019.
