ACT NO, 789: BILL NO. 31-0404 THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2016 An Act appropriating monies from the Anti-litter and Beautification Fund to the Department of Public Works and the Waste Management Authority for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2017 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much as may be necessary, are appropriated from the Anti-litter and Beautification Fund, as reestablished by Act No. 7536, in the Treasury of the Virgin Islands, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2017 for the purposes specified in this Act: FISCAL YEAR 2017 2043 ANTI-LITTER AND BEAUTIFICATION 610 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TOTAL DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS $1,000,000 620 VI WASTE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY TOTAL VI WASTE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY $5,000,000 TOTAL ANTI-LITTER AND BEAUTIFICATION $6,000,000 Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on September 21, 2016.
