ROM THURSDAY 12tu INST., a por- F tion of the Center Line,—The '‘bend’’ around La Reine—will be temporarily clogsed to Public-traflic, during the con- straction of a culvert across the road- way. The traffic will, in the meartime, muke a slight detour through a “‘range’’ 1b the adjoining canefield- near the two White Pillars—coming oui oo the line between Barren Spot and Clifton Hill, near road leading north, between Slob and La Reine. W. Skeoch) and Ist Member for Frederik:ted Country District (Fleming) 2 votes respectively and Ist Appointed Member (Coulter) and Ist Member for Christiansted Town (Abramson) 1 vote respectively. As none had majority vote a new free vote had to be taken. 15 voting tickets were handen ing one was invalid. 2nd Member for Christiansted Coun- try District (Berg) and Ist Member for Frederiksted Country District (Fleming) received 4 votes respectively, 3rd Member for Christiansted Town (Alexander) and 3rd Member for Christiansted Country District (Robt. W. As none had absolute majority vote a new free vore had to be taken, 14 voting tickets were handed in, 2 were void. Rev. Christensen received 6 votes, Rev, Banks and Father Clair 2 voies re:pee- tiv:ly and Rev. Maynew ana Rev, Allen 1 vote respectively.
