AMENDMENT OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT THIS AGREEMENT is made as of the ye day of Nowmber, 2016, in the Territory of the Virgin Islands by and between the GOVERNMENT of the Virgin Islands DEPARTMENT OF PROPERTY AND PROCUREMENT, on behalf of the DEPARTMENT OF LABOR (hereinafter referred to as “Government”) and Mathematica Policy Research, Inc., (hereinafter referred to as “Contractor’). WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, pursuant to Contract No. PC135DOL14 (hereinafter, “the Contract”) approved by the Governor on August 8, 2014, the Government contracted with Contractor to provide an independent verification of the extent to which the Virgin Islands Department of Labor Unemployment Insurance benefits and tax data validation extract files meet federal requirements, which duties and responsibilities are more particularly described in Addendum | attached to the Contract; and WHEREAS, the “term” of the Contract expired on February 8, 2015; and WHEREAS, Contractor did not complete its performance of the Contract by February 8, 2015, and requested additional time to do so; and WHEREAS, prior to Febr …

AMENDMENT OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT THIS AGREEMENT is made as of the ye day of Nowmber, 2016, in the Territory of the Virgin Islands by and between the GOVERNMENT of the Virgin Islands DEPARTMENT OF PROPERTY AND PROCUREMENT, on behalf of the DEPARTMENT OF LABOR (hereinafter referred to as “Government”) and Mathematica Policy Research, Inc., (hereinafter referred to as “Contractor’). WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, pursuant to Contract No. PC135DOL14 (hereinafter, “the Contract”) approved by the Governor on August 8, 2014, the Government contracted with Contractor to provide an independent verification of the extent to which the Virgin Islands Department of Labor Unemployment Insurance benefits and tax data validation extract files meet federal requirements, which duties and responsibilities are more particularly described in Addendum | attached to the Contract; and WHEREAS, the “term” of the Contract expired on February 8, 2015; and WHEREAS, Contractor did not complete its performance of the Contract by February 8, 2015, and requested additional time to do so; and WHEREAS, prior to February 8, 2015, the parties agreed to extend the term of the Contract; and WHEREAS, the parties have continued performing the Contract from February 8, 2015, to the present; and WHEREAS, the parties still have not completed their performance of the Contract; and WHEREAS, the parties desire to complete their performance by December 31, 2016; and WHEREAS, this amendment will not result in any change to the scope of work provided for under the Contract and shall not require an increase to the compensation originally provided for under the Contract; NOW THEREFORE, for mutual and valuable consideration, the parties hereto agree as follows: TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 1. The term of this Contract shall expire on December 31, 2016; 2. Except as expressly stated herein all terms of the Contract shall remain in full force and effect.
