ACTNO. 8177 BILL NO. 33-0067 THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2019 An Act amending title 19, chapter 34 of the Virgin Islands Code to extend the time within which the Cannabis Advisory Board must propose rules and regulations for implementation of the chapter Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 19, part III, chapter 34 of the Virgin Islands Code is amended as follows: (a) _ In section 777, subsection (g), by striking the first sentence in its entirety; (b) In the introductory clause of section 778, by striking “Not later than 120 days after the effective date of this chapter,”; (c) In section 784, subsection (a), by striking “No later than !20 days after the effective date of this chapter,”; and (d) In section 786, subsection (b), by striking “Not later than 120 days after the effective date of this chapter,”. SECTION 2. (a) Not later than December 31, 2019, the Virgin Islands Cannabis Advisory Board shall: (1) promulgate the rules mandated under 19 V.I.C. …
