ACT NO, 7273 BILL NO. 29-0126 TWENTY-NINTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2011 An Act to name the roadway beginning at the intersection of Route 107 and Route 108 up to Picture Point on St. John, Virgin Islands, “The Calvert C. Marsh Road” a0 WHEREAS, Calvert C. Marsh was born on April 11, 1946, in Spring Garden on the island of St. John, Virgin Islands; and WHEREAS, Calvert C. Marsh attended the Guy Benjamin School in Coral Bay, St. John and graduated from Charlotte Amalie High School on St. Thomas in 1965; and WHEREAS, Calvert C. Marsh then joined and served in the U. S. Army as a Staff Sergeant for two years; and WHEREAS, after completing his term with the U. S. Army, Calvert C. Marsh was later admitted to New York University, where he received a certificate for general real estate studies in 1973; and WHEREAS, Calvert C. Marsh worked for the City of New York drafting, tracing and inking maps; and WHEREAS, Calvert C. Marsh later returned to the Virgin Islands and worked for Civil Defense as a Radiological Defense Officer; and WHEREAS, Calvert C. …
