To the knowledge of all maintenance personnel, since the purchase of the Laga Building by the Department of Education (DOE), there has not been any oil water separators, waste holding tanks or any other similar structure at this facility. Mr. PedrJto Lanclos, (P.O. Box 692, St. Thomas, VI 00801; telephone (809) 775-2940) may have some information on rotten empty drums found within a storeroom in the facility. He indicated that the content of the drums smelted like cleaning solution and that there were no legible label. 3. See #2 4. See #2 5. Based on our date sheets (enclosed) we have never used chemicals that contain trichlorethylene, 1, 2 trans-dichloroethylene and methylethylketone. 6. 7. 8. No vehicles are repaired at the facility. When vehicles are in need of repairs, they are either taken to the Government Motor Pool which is located at Crown Bay or to a private vendor for repairs. 12. To my knowledge there are no areas within the Department of Education facilities where used cdl is handled or stored. Gasoline for running lawn mowers and weedeaters is obtained from the Government's Motor Pool in 1 and 5 gallon containers on a daily and weekly basis. NOTE: Additional information may be had from Mr. Angel Robles who occupied a section of the facility after it was purchased by DOE. His address is Bordeaux #95, St. Thomas, VI 00802; telephone (809) 776-2927. OR Mr. Moscoso who worked at the facility when it was used as a cloth factory and who may have a higher quality of information since he worked for the cloth company for many years before DOE purchased the building.
