ACTNO, 7588 BILL NO. 30-0023 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2014 An Act amending title 33 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 83, to require an assessment of the cadastral and land records housed in the Office of the Lieutenant Governor --0-— Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 33 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 83, section 2362 is amended by adding subsection (d) to read as follows: “(d) _ In addition to the duties outlined in this section, every five years, the Office of the Lieutenant Governor in collaboration with the Territorial Archivist of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources shall conduct an assessment of the cadastral and land records housed in his office, detailing the physical condition, location and accessibility of the cadastral and land records of the territory to the public. The Office of the Lieutenant Governor shall in its annual budget include an amount necessary to facilitate the assessment. …
