ACENO, 7375 BILL NO. 29-0292 TWENTY-NINTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2012 An Act requiring the Director of Personnel to prepare a list of all persons hired during this state of fiscal emergency and forward it to the Legislature and for other purposes ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. During this state of fiscal emergency, only those positions that have been designated as “essential” positions in Act 7261, as amended, and those positions that are federally funded shall be filled. SECTION 2. During this state of fiscal emergency, the Director of the Division of Personnel shall, on the fifteenth day of each month, prepare a report of all new hires in the Government of the Virgin Islands inclusive of the Legislature, Executive and Judicial branches of government. The report shall include the name, payroll or employee number to include the position title, salary, fund from which the employee’s salary shall be withdrawn, employment start date, department or agency, and island of residence of each employee. …
