By spring 2017, UVI will increase retention rates (first year to second year) by 15 percent above current levels (72 percent). 2E. Integrate the Center for Student Success (CSS) throughout the University. (e.g., student affairs, faculty advisement and financial aid). • 2E6. National Student Exchange: 18 outgoing UVI Students Summer Research Abroad (mostly STEM): 20 students in 2013; 22 in 2014; 33 in 2015; 31 in 2016 Boston University (Early Medical School): 4 in 2013; 2 in 2014; 3 in 2015; 5 in 2016 *We have increased the benchmark number.
