Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources announces that the Division of Fish and Wildlife will hold Pre-Registration Meetings for all Virgin Islands commercial fishers. ST. CROIX: Monday, June 10th from 6:00-8:30pm at the UVI Great Hall (North-West Wing). ST. THOMAS-ST. JOHN: Tuesday, June 11th from 6:00-8:30pm at Muse Events Center on the Waterfront. The Pre-Registration Meeting will cover updates and changes to compliance, catch reporting, the port sampling program and presentations from the Local Food and Farm Council and the Southeast Fisheries Science Center. This meeting will also provide a chance for commercial fishers to complete the first portion of the license renewal process. The Division of Fish and Wildlife kindly requests that commercial fishers schedule their port samples and submit any missing commercial catch reports, for a smooth license renewal process.
