ACTNO, 7992 BILL NO. 32-0090 THIRTY-SECOND LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2017 An Act amending Act No. 7897 to increase the Department of Human Services’ appropriation in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2017; appropriating $11,750,000 from the General Fund to the Department or Education for the Summer Maintenance Programs and appropriating $250,000 to the Department of Labor's Summer Youth Program Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION I. Act No, 7897, section | is amended in the following instances: (a). Subsection “X” is amended by inserting a line item after line item for “Operating Expenses” to read: “Additional Local Match for Medical Assistance Program $7,000,000”, and by striking “$69,033,891” and inserting “$86,033,692”. (b). Subsection AC is amended in the line item, “TOTAL GENERAL FUND,” by striking $61 1,590,692” and inserting “$618,590,692” and in the line item M, “GRAND TOTAL GENERAL FUND” by striking “$612,896,658” and inserting “$621,986,658".
