s/AWCJR AMENDMENT TO BILL NO. 36-0123 Offered by Senator Ray Fonseca Bill No. 36-0123 is amended as follows: (a) Section 1, paragraph (a), is amended: (1) In line 4 by striking the “s” at the end of “paragraphs” and by striking “and (4)”; and (2) By striking internal paragraph (4). (b) Section 1, paragraph (b), is amended by striking the existing language in internal paragraph (4) and inserting new language as follows: “Notwithstanding paragraph (1), any person convicted of violating subsection (a)(3), shall be also subject to the following: (A) A mandatory fine of between $3,000 and not more than $5,000 and the possible requirement to perform up to 30 hours of community service, at the discretion of the court, for a first offense. (B) A mandatory fine of between $6,000 and not more than $10,000, and mandatory community service of 60 hours for a second offense within a 10-year period. …
