Sincerely, Marlon Hibbert Director, CZM cc: Jamal Nielsen, Media Relations Coordinator File PUBLIC NOTICE The Department of Planning and Natural Resources announces that pursuant to Virgin Islands Rules and Regulations, Title 12, Chapter 21, Section 904-9 meetings of the St. Thomas Committee of the Virgin Islands Coastal Zone Management Commission have been scheduled to begin on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. This meeting will be held via the video conferencing platform Microsoft Teams. Public Hearing on Federal Consistency Determination No. CZM0037-25- George C. Scott Fire Station Reconstruction and Safe Room Project. The project, submitted by The Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services, proposes demolition and reconstruction of the station along with construction of an internal safe room. The new structure will be a single story measuring approximately 8,240 gross square feet. The proposed facility will be constructed in virtually the same footprint as the existing with a minor expanded footprint to accommodate the additional square footage. The project is located at Plot 390, Estate Anna’s Retreat, New Quarter, Charlotte Amalie St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, 00802.
