ACTNO. 8412 BILL NO. 33-0436 THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2020 An Act appropriating $1,665,637 from the St. Croix Capital Improvement Fund to the Virgin Islands Port Authority for the completion of the “Henry E. Rohlsen Improvement and Expansion Project” ---0--- WHEREAS, the United States Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) has approved the Virgin Islands Port Authority’s application for a $7,000,000 investment to enable the completion of the “Henry E. Rohlsen Airport Improvement and Expansion Project”; and WHEREAS, the total cost of the “Henry E. Rohlsen Improvement and Expansion Project” is estimated at $8,665,637, and partial funding was awarded under EDA’s Economic Adjustment Assistance Program of the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 3121 et seq., a shortfall of $1,665,637 remains for the completion of the project; Now, Therefore; Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. …
