Kean pronounced sentence upon Emanuel Faulkner the murderer of Anselmo Anduze at 10 o’clock A. M. on Saturday. The Prisoner was con- demned tothe penitentiary for the ‘‘re- maining period of his natural life’’. He is therefore according to law ‘‘eivilly dead’’. The U. S. N. tug Tadoussac with His Excellency Governor Oman aboard,called at Frederiksted on Saturday afternoon and also brought the week-end St. Thom- as mail.. The Virginia from Porto Rico is ad- vised as having turned back owing to stress of weathoer, but no accurate in- formation is available as regards the in- coming .majl. Parima whose arrival at St. Thomas was considered overdue, arrived at 2p. m. yesterday and would leave for Frederiksted at 2 this morn- ing. There was ‘no concert by the the Na- vy Band last night.
