ACTNQI9O92 BILL NO. 36-0296 THIRTY-SIXTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regniar Session 2026 An act amending Act No. 9028 to include a S2,300.000 appropriation for the University of the Virgin Islands Scholarship Revolving Fund and amending title 17 Virgin Islands Code. chapter 15, section 1 90ddj)(2) by changing the funding source for the University of the Virgin Islands Scholarship Revolving Fund ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Act No. 9028 is amended as follows: (a) By adding the following section 25: “SECTION 25. The sum of $2,300,000 is appropriated from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, to the University of the Virgin Islands for the University of the Virgin Islands Scholarship Revolving Fund to provide tuition scholarships for residents of the Virgin Islands pursuing post-secondary education at the University of the Virgin Islands.”; and (b) By striking “$34,977,962” in the two instances it appears and inserting “$37,277.96?”.
